Men in the UK will be able to buy Viagra over the counter after consulting with a pharmacist and without a prescription for the first time today.
ViagraConnect manufacturer, Pfizer, estimates more than a fifth of men aged over 18 in Britain suffer from erectile dysfunction, but almost half of those over 40 have not sought medical help.
The erectile dysfunction drug will be available in 14,000 stores across Britain and via pharmacy websites.
The tablets will be available exclusively from Boots until 10 April.
Those aged 18 and over will be able to buy the tablets following a conversation with a pharmacist or after filling out an online form. Men can ask to speak to a pharmacist in a private consultation room if preferred.
The pharmacists will determine whether treatment is appropriate for the patient and give advice on erectile dysfunction, usage of the medicine and potential side effects. They will advise men to consult with their doctor no less than six months after buying Viagra so that any potential underlying conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease can be investigated.
A Boots spokesperson said that the man affected by erectile dysfunction should buy the drug themselves wherever practically possible.
Men with severe heart problems, those at high risk of heart problems, liver failure, kidney failure, strokes or those taking certain other medicines, will still need to be prescribed the drug under the supervision of a doctor.
A four-pack of the tablets will cost £19.99 and an eight-pack £34.99.
Men who buy it will be advised that they can take a 50 mg tablet an hour before having sex, but should not use more than one pill a day.
Viagra is is already available as an NHS prescription free of charge for those eligible not to pay for their prescriptions.
The pharmacist will decide how many packs will be supplied in a transaction.
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) announced in November it was to steer men away from buying the tablets from. In 2016 £17m worth of unlicensed and counterfeit Viagra was seized.
Kristie Sourial, Pfizer’s medical manager, said: “It’s important to remember that erectile dysfunction is a medical condition, and that the impact often goes beyond the physical symptoms – it can lead to men feeling anxious, depressed and lacking in confidence.
“Our hope is that the availability of Viagra Connect in pharmacies will encourage men who do nothing about their erectile dysfunction to seek help, and encourage those who are inclined to seek help to do so sooner.”
Viagra tablets will be available in both quantity and generic versions by orders of their originalclad packaging.Read more
A spokesman for theokes medicinal brands Dr Fox and Eroxia said: “Over the next couple of days or two the availability of Viagra Connect can ensure that men are taking Viagra immediately after getting an erection but before even having sex.”
The choice of medicine will be made in consultation with a doctor via a private consultation room or an oral service. Men can ask to speak to a pharmacist in a private consultation room.

The team of manufacturers behind Viagra and other NHS treatment online will be aiming to make Connect (or drug combinations) widely available.
Connect, which is also plans to be on the NHS in October, is intended to help improve the chances ofWT ever occurring. It will be available in both quantity and generic form but also comes with notice in the past few years that it is warranted.
Connect has been on the market since the beginning of this year and already has been effective in providing 100 per cent erectile dysfunction without the need for weeks or months of exercise or stress reduction.
There are numerous causes of erectile dysfunction, but little research has been done to identify the best treatment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Viagra (sildenafil citrate) in improving sexual function in men with erectile dysfunction.
The study was a retrospective study of patients with erectile dysfunction and their partners. The patients with erectile dysfunction were selected from a pool of men with erectile dysfunction (ED) in Australia between 1993 and 2006. A total of 825 patients who met the criteria were included in the study. Their partners were male and female partners, and their age was between 35 and 75 years. Patients with an erection that lasted for less than 4 hours, or with a duration of more than 4 hours, or with an erection lasting more than 24 hours, were excluded. Finally, a total of 825 patients were included in the study who had ED in the last three months. The patients were randomly allocated into two groups.
The two groups were compared using the Student’st-test (p<0.01).
The mean age of the patients in the two groups was 58.4 years and 63.6 years, while the mean duration of ED was 18.7 and 20.4 hours. The mean frequency of the ED in the two groups was significantly higher than the one in the other two groups. The prevalence of the ED in the two groups was significantly higher than the one in the other two groups. However, the frequency of ED was more common in the three groups. There were no significant differences in the frequency of the ED between the two groups. However, the mean duration of ED in the two groups was shorter than the one in the other two groups. There was no difference in the frequency of the ED between the two groups. The mean duration of ED was significantly longer in the patients in the two groups than in the one in the other two groups. However, the frequency of ED was not different in the two groups. The mean duration of ED in the two groups was shorter than the one in the other two groups. The mean duration of ED in the two groups was significantly longer than the one in the other two groups. However, the frequency of ED was not different between the two groups.
Viagra (sildenafil citrate) in patients with erectile dysfunction improves sexual function and sexual satisfaction in patients with ED. The effect was found to be more significant in the two groups.

Sildenafil (Viagra) is one of the most common prescription drugs used by men to treat erectile dysfunction. It is the active ingredient in Viagra, which is used to treat erectile dysfunction. This means it helps men achieve and maintain an erection when sexually aroused, which is the most common sexual function disorder in men. This disorder is more common among men who also take nitrates or alpha-blockers, which are used to treat angina or chest pain.
This condition can be a source of discomfort for many men, as they find it hard to get or keep an erection. However, it is important to talk with your healthcare professional if you are experiencing any of these symptoms. He or she may be able to provide you with an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
ED is a chronic condition that is often treated by medications such as sildenafil. When it comes to ED, there are several medications available that can help to manage it effectively. These include:
You can also take these medications if you have any of the following:
Sildenafil is a prescription drug. You will need to read the patient information leaflet and speak to your healthcare professional for further guidance.
Viagra works by blocking an enzyme called PDE-5 that is responsible for breaking down the chemicals responsible for erection (sildenafil) in the body. This causes your body to produce more PDE-5, which increases blood flow to the penis, allowing for an erection. When Viagra is taken by mouth, it can increase blood flow to the penis, which can help men achieve and maintain an erection. Sildenafil can also help to increase blood flow to the penis, allowing for more blood to enter.
Sildenafil is also known to increase blood flow to the penis, which can improve erections. The exact way this medication works is not fully understood, but it is thought to work by inhibiting PDE-5. As a result, it can help men achieve and maintain an erection when sexually stimulated.
There are several different types of PDE-5 inhibitors available to treat ED.
It is not clear how Viagra works, but it can inhibit PDE-5. This can lead to side effects, including headaches, flushing, and visual disturbances. If you experience any of these symptoms, seek medical help immediately.
Sildenafil may take up to 6 hours to work, depending on the dose and how the body responds to the medication.
This week the Adelaide Health Centre is inviting health workers to share their experience of using Viagra as a sexual performance enhancement product. In this case, the worker was prescribed Viagra 50mg for male enhancement purposes, and the sexual dysfunction she experienced was a side effect of the medication, which she says she was not aware of.
The worker reported experiencing the following symptoms when using the drug:
In order to be effective and avoid unwanted side effects, Viagra should be taken only once per day.
The worker’s experience is significant because it highlights the importance of taking Viagra with a proper diet and lifestyle.
“I would say that the patient would have had an adverse reaction to the drug, which is why we would recommend that the patient should be educated on how to take the drug without the need for a prescription or other over-the-counter remedies.
